Having a way to store and share files outside of my website is really helpful. Here are three options that work with WordPress:
Dropbox
Dropbox is a cloud storage service where I can keep my website backups and important files. The UpdraftPlus plugin lets me send backups straight to Dropbox.
Pros: Easy to use, free for small storage, works well with plugins.
Cons: Free version has limited space.
Google Drive
Google Drive gives me more free space and connects easily with my Google account. Some backup plugins can save my files there, too.
Pros: Lots of free storage, easy to organize files, good sharing options.
Cons: Need a Google account, plugin setup can be a little tricky.
OneDrive
OneDrive is Microsoft’s storage service. It works with some WordPress plugins and is good if I already use Microsoft tools.
Pros: Integrates with Windows and Office, decent free space, safe.
Cons: Not as many WordPress plugins support it, sometimes harder to set up.
These services help me keep my website files safe, make backups, and share files if I need to. Using cloud storage means I won’t lose my files if something happens to my computer or website.
